The three categories of share links
1. Preview before you publish
The most common “why does my link look broken on Twitter?” moment is an Open Graph misconfiguration that nobody catches until the post goes live. Shortened URLs are the most common vehicle for phishing and scam links because they hide the destination. Privacy
The QR Code Generator and URL Shortener both run client-side (no server logs of what you encoded or shortened). Link previews and URL unshortening require fetching the target URL, which goes through our infrastructure but is not logged with your IP. Sensitive URLs (auth tokens, private invitations) should still be inspected in a browser private window.
