Many tools process text, code, or files directly in the browser. Whenever local processing is possible, we prefer it over sending user data to a remote server.

Discover Web Tools is a growing collection of free online utilities built to remove friction from everyday web work. The goal is simple: make reliable tools that open quickly, solve a focused problem, and respect the user’s privacy.
Discover Web Tools was created by Furkan Beydemir, a frontend developer with more than five years of hands-on experience building products with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern browser APIs. Much of that work has centered on performance, accessibility, responsive interfaces, and technical SEO.
The project started from a familiar developer frustration: too many simple tasks required switching between slow websites, desktop utilities, or tools that sent sensitive input to unknown servers. Discover Web Tools was built as a practical alternative covering SEO, development, media processing, calculations, security checks, writing workflows, and legal generators.
Free tools matter because small tasks compound. A writer checking a meta description length, a developer formatting JSON, a marketer generating a QR code, or a student calculating percentages should not need expensive software or a complicated workflow.
Our mission is to publish useful browser-based tools with clear instructions, strong metadata, and genuinely helpful supporting content so users understand not just how a tool works, but when and why to use it.
We review tools based on real browser behavior, clarity of inputs and outputs, and whether the page explains practical use cases, limitations, and troubleshooting steps. When a workflow can be processed locally in the browser, we prefer that approach.
We also revisit tool descriptions, metadata, and supporting content when a page is too generic, outdated, or no longer meets the quality bar we want the site to maintain.
Many tools process text, code, or files directly in the browser. Whenever local processing is possible, we prefer it over sending user data to a remote server.
We aim for tools that are accurate, fast, mobile-friendly, and easy to understand, with clear inputs, outputs, and supporting explanations.
The site is designed to be accessible without subscriptions or friction-filled onboarding. Useful web utilities should be easy to reach when people need them.
